Luz Blancas Sevak
Luz Blancas Sevak is a Vice President at ASG, where she draws on more than 20 years of experience working with global education organizations to advise clients in the sector.
Before joining ASG, Ms. Sevak co-founded and served as Managing Director at Mindset Global, an advisory and investment firm for the global education sector. There, she served clients including universities, educational technology companies, and investors. Previously, Ms. Sevak founded Mexico Educa to advise early-stage social enterprises in Latin America and Asia. She also served as an adjunct faculty member at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois and at Loyola University in Chicago, where she developed and taught courses on international business strategy and economic development. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sevak was a marketing manager at Siebel (now Oracle) and a senior consultant at the Monitor Group, where she advised corporate, nonprofit, and government leaders on strategy across the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Ms. Sevak is a member of the boards of trustees of Studio Theater, the Leadership Now Project, and the John Hopkins Center for Gun Violence Solutions.
She earned her MBA at Harvard Business School and B.S. and M.Sc degrees with honors at the Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey in Mexico.
She is based in Washington, D.C.
