Jia Mingru is a Senior Advisor at ASG, where he advises clients on intellectual property and regulatory issues. Mr. Jia is one of China’s leading experts on intellectual property rights from both the legislative and law enforcement perspectives.

Previously, Mr. Jia held a number of senior positions in the Chinese government, including as Assistant Minister of Culture and Director General at the State Council Legislative Affairs Office. A leading expert on intellectual property rights, Mr. Jia was once in charge of the Office of the Intellectual Property Leading Group under the State Council and has many years of experience in world trade negotiations, including serving as a Chinese representative in U.S.-China Intellectual Property Rights negotiations.

He is based in Beijing, China.
