Sami Al Askari
Sami is an Associate Partner with the Middle East and North Africa practice, where he supports clients in capability building and developing policy instruments to meet their strategic objectives.
Before joining ASG, Sami was a Strategy Consultant in the Middle East covering a range of client industries spanning the Public Sector, Travel & Tourism, Agribusiness, Financial Services and Capital Markets. His functional experience includes market entry strategy, business strategy and operating model definition, strategy execution, and project & transformation management.
Earlier in his career, Sami was based in North America as a Foreign Direct Investment Prospector representing various Government and Economic Development Organizations globally, from East to West. His focus was investment attraction and synergy creation between growth sectors in target markets with clients' respective economies.
Sami earned his B.A. in Economics from Concordia University and studied Project Management at McGill University, in Montreal, Canada.
He is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
