Roopal Suhag is a Senior Director in the India practice. She comes with close to a decade of experience in the public policy, advocacy, and government affairs industries. Ms. Suhag leads the firm’s engagement with clients in diverse sectors. In her role, she assesses the impact of policy and regulatory developments on businesses and advises clients on building effective advocacy and engagement strategies with stakeholders.

Her experience spans sectors such as technology (cloud, enterprise software), social media intermediaries, FinTech (payments, lending, crypto), e-mobility, clean energy, online gaming, and Online Travel Aggregators (online rental/tourism). 

Ms. Suhag previously worked with PRS Legislative Research, India’s leading public policy not-for-profit that works to strengthen the country’s democracy by making legislatures more effective. At PRS, she supported members of the Indian Parliament and state legislatures with credible and non-partisan research in critical areas such as federal/state finances, infrastructure, and social sectors.

Ms. Suhag holds a degree in urban planning and policy from CEPT University in Ahmedabad, India. 

She is based in New Delhi.
