Sarah Urtz
Sarah Urtz is an Associate with DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group’s East Asia and Pacific practice, based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining ASG, Ms. Urtz was based in Bangkok, Thailand as a Senior Research Analyst with Tractus, where she advised clients on a wide range of economic development and Asia market entry issues.
Ms. Urtz has worked across the public and private sectors, providing research, data analysis, and communications on a variety of topics and industries. Previously, she conducted due diligence related to labor issues in supply chains across Asia for a multinational corporation. Additionally, she spent two years leading the digital communications team at the Institute for International Economic Policy.
Ms. Urtz previously interned with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Democracy, Rights, and Labor, Office of East Asia and Pacific Affairs; Foreign Policy Magazine; PNC Financial Services; and a U.S. Senatorial campaign.
She was a Princeton in Asia Fellow in Bangkok, Thailand in 2022 and the recipient of two U.S. State Department Scholarships for critical language study in 2016 and 2021. She served as a committee leader with the American Chamber of Commerce Thailand from 2022 to 2024.
Ms. Urtz earned her B.A. in International Affairs with the highest distinction from the George Washington University. She is an advanced Mandarin speaker.
