May Loh

May Loh is a Partner and leads DGA-ASG's Singapore office. She draws on expertise and networks developed over decades at the intersection of Singapore’s public, private, and social sectors to help clients navigate markets in the region.

Beginning as a law clerk to the Chief Justice and moving on to senior roles in government including in the Competition Commission of Singapore and the Attorney General’s Chambers, Ms. Loh was with the Singapore Legal Service for more than 20 years. On secondment to the Singapore Administrative Service, May worked on foreign manpower policy, labor relations, and negotiated free trade agreements. Ms Loh then moved to focus on sustainability, investor stewardship and corporate governance work at Stewardship Asia Centre, a beneficiary of Temasek Trust. She is Senior Advisor to The Nature Conservancy (Asia-Pacific). 

An alumni advisor to the Singapore delegation of the St Gallen Symposium, May serves on several charity boards including that of the Securities Investors Association and the Singapore University of Technology and Design. She is Chairman of The Helping Hand, a halfway house awarded the Institution of a Public Character (IPC) status. 

She received an LL.M from Harvard Law School and her LL.B from the University of Kent.

She is based in Singapore.
