Press Release: ASG Welcomes Glyn Davies, May Loh, and Mosharraf Zaidi

Expand capabilities in the firm’s East Asia & Pacific and South Asia practices

March 25, 2021 (Washington, D.C.) – Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), the premier global strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, is pleased to announce that Glyn Davies, May Loh, and Mosharraf Zaidi have joined as Senior Advisors, bringing expanded expertise and on-the-ground insights to the firm’s East Asia & Pacific and South Asia practices.

Ambassador Glyn Davies joins ASG after a distinguished 38-year career in the U.S. Foreign Service, serving most recently as the U.S. Ambassador to Thailand. May Loh brings decades of experience in the public and social sectors in Singapore, and Mosharraf Zaidi has held a variety of positions across South Asia including as the principal advisor to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister.

Ambassador Glyn Davies served as U.S. Ambassador to Thailand from 2015 to 2018. During his distinguished foreign service career, he held a range of senior diplomatic roles including Special Representative for North Korean Affairs, U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN in Vienna, and Executive Secretary of the White House National Security Council, among others.

May Loh, based in Singapore, served with the Singapore Legal Service for two decades. She began her career as a law clerk to the Chief Justice and moved on to senior roles in several ministries, including Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower, where she worked on foreign manpower policy and free trade agreements. Her current advisory work focuses on public policy, corporate governance, and sustainability issues in the region. 

Mosharraf Zaidi, based in Islamabad, served as the principal advisor to Pakistan’s Foreign Minister. He has helped lead a number of aid and development programs in Pakistan and Afghanistan, including with the UN, the European Union, and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office. He also served as CEO of the Alif Ailaan campaign to address Pakistan’s education crisis and is a senior fellow at the research and advisory firm Tabadlab.
