News: DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group Launches National Security, Defense, and Aerospace Practice with the Appointment of Spencer P. Boyer
March 19, 2024 (Washington, D.C.) - DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), a global multidisciplinary advisory firm, announces that Spencer P. Boyer has joined as Partner and will lead a new National Security, Defense, and Aerospace practice, advancing the firm’s work in this area. He will be based in Washington, D.C.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience as a senior foreign policy and national security expert and high-level U.S. government official, Mr. Boyer further strengthens the firm’s ability to help clients globally operating across strategic sectors adapt to evolving geopolitical realities and navigate elevated risk in their business strategy.
“Given the volatile geopolitical environment, businesses need strategic, political, and security insights to ensure the resilience of their operations while managing national security concerns,” said Mr. Boyer, Partner at DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group. “At the same time, countries around the world are investing extensively in new defense and security capabilities and undertaking extensive strategic planning processes. Our offerings will help clients worldwide adapt to shifting global dynamics in this era of strategic competition and cooperation, and specifically help aerospace and defense clients engage with policymakers and navigate complicated government processes.”
Previously, Mr. Boyer was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Policy under the current administration, where he was responsible for managing the day-to-day defense relationship between the United States and NATO, the EU, and more than 40 European countries. Serving in both terms of the Obama administration, Mr. Boyer was the National Intelligence Officer for Europe in the National Intelligence Council and a Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, where his portfolio included Western Europe, public diplomacy, and public affairs. Among other professional distinctions, Mr. Boyer was awarded the Office of the Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service.
“Spencer's decades of experience in advising senior policymakers, and his proven record of leadership in the national security and defense sphere will be critical for businesses in the sector,” said Dan K. Rosenthal, Managing Partner of DGA-Albright Stonebridge Group. “Strengthening our expertise in national security, defense, and aerospace is a natural step of the firm’s global platform and our commitment to addressing the needs of our clients.”
