Senior Advisor Julián Ventura spoke on CBC about the 10th North American Leaders' Summit in Mexico City.
It's a massive relationship. Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. account for one-third of global GDP, so all the issues related to competitiveness, productivity, [and] facing increased competition from China will be top-of-mind at the trilateral meetings....There are, of course, issues that are ancillary to the main discussion: security, immigration....there are many, many issues on the table, but the focus of the summit will be to consolidate and present a very cooperative approach to...strengthening North America's position in the global economy.
