Zachary Wheeler
Zachary Wheeler is a Senior Associate in ASG’s East Asia & Pacific practice Singapore Office, where he supports clients through stakeholder strategy and engagement; policy research and analysis; and project coordination. Mr. Wheeler has supported ASG clients across sectors to engage with public, private, and civil society stakeholders in Singapore and the broader Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining ASG, Mr. Wheeler was a Graduate Research Assistant at the Henry A. Kissinger Center for Global Affairs at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). There, he wrote research memos on an array of international affairs topics, including U.S.-China competition, and helped edit “Covid-19 and the World Order,” a Johns Hopkins University Press book. Mr. Wheeler was also co-creator, editor, and head of the Hopkins Podcast on Foreign Affairs, a student-run publication.
He previously interned at Base Operations, where he supported business strategy and data research, and at the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, where he provided research and administrative support.
Mr. Wheeler received his B.A. in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University and his M.A. from Johns Hopkins SAIS. He is proficient in Russian.
He is based in Singapore.
