October 5, 2020 (Washington, D.C.) – Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), the premier global strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, is pleased to announce the additions of Paul Ansah as Senior Vice President and Michael Masserman as Senior Advisor.

Paul Ansah draws on extensive experience navigating dynamic markets across Africa to support ASG clients with market entry, growth strategies, and partnership-building across the continent.

Most recently Mr. Ansah was founder and CEO of Answer Group, a boutique advisory firm that advised global real estate and hospitality clients in the evaluation, structuring, and negotiation of international partnerships. Previously, as Vice President of International Development for Marriott International, Mr. Ansah was responsible for the growth of all Marriott brands across 30 countries in Africa and the Indian Ocean. He led a team of executives in the successful sourcing, negotiation, and execution of dozens of hotel transactions with assets valued in excess of $2.5 billion. Previously, Mr. Ansah spent several years underwriting and structuring complex global transactions with Marriott, including the growth of Ritz-Carlton’s global branded residential portfolio.

Michael Masserman, based in San Francisco, was most recently Head of Global Policy & Social Impact at Lyft. As ASG Senior Advisor, his expertise and innovative approach to government affairs and social impact campaigns will help clients manage policy issues and pursue growth opportunities in global markets.

 At Lyft, Mr. Masserman worked on and led initiatives ranging from global business expansion and transportation equity to regulatory policy and the future of work. Previously, he served at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he led efforts to help U.S. businesses expand into and compete in new markets as the Executive Director for Export Policy, Promotion & Strategy, and advised the executive branch on the formulation and implementation of trade policy. Mr. Masserman began his career as an international corporate lawyer.
