ASG CONGRATULATES WENDY R. SHERMAN ON HER NEW APPOINTMENTS
AT HARVARD KENNEDY SCHOOL
WASHINGTON, DC (August 28, 2018) - Co-chairs Madeleine K. Albright and Carlos M. Gutierrez, along with all Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG) colleagues, extend their congratulations to Wendy R. Sherman on her appointments at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University as professor of the practice of public leadership and as the director of the school’s Center for Public Leadership.
Ambassador Sherman will remain ASG Senior Counselor and will continue to serve clients of the firm in a part-time capacity.
“Wendy is a friend, a leader, a supremely-skilled diplomat, a mentor to the young, a newly-minted author, and an individual of great humanity and moral sense,” said ASG Chair Madeleine K. Albright. “I congratulate her on her new role at Harvard and am pleased that she will continue to have a position of responsibility with ASG.”
Ambassador Sherman rejoined ASG in 2016 after her distinguished service as U.S. Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs. Among her varied global responsibilities, Ambassador Sherman led the U.S. negotiating team that reached agreement on a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action between the P5+1, the European Union, and Iran. Prior to her most recent service at the U.S. Department of State, she was a Vice Chair of the Albright Stonebridge Group.
