The Challenge

A major U.S. financial services industry association sought to facilitate the introduction of certain financial products to the Chinese market and increase Chinese investors’ interest in those products in the United States.

Our China team focused on the domestic regulatory environment needed to introduce these products to the Chinese market, as well as ways to facilitate outbound investment into these products in the United States. In addition, we sought to raise the client’s profile in the financial services sector, and to improve its reputation as a trusted source of financial sector expertise. ASG developed and led an effective outreach strategy, introducing the client to key stakeholders and developing messaging to highlight the ways in which these products would support China’s financial market development. ASG also provided ongoing analysis of political and economic developments that could have an impact on the association’s outreach efforts and long-term goals.
