Launching a major affordable housing initiative

 

The Challenge 

A global financial services firm hoped to establish a new internal unit to start and scale cross-sector solutions to the affordable housing crisis in the United States. The company sought ASG’s assistance to identify partners in adjacent sectors including health, education, energy, and employment.

The ASG Approach 

ASG organized and facilitated a cross-country listening tour with senior leaders across sectors to help our client identify the areas of need where they could have the greatest impact. ASG then worked alongside company executives and staff to design and implement the mission, strategy, structure, and partnerships necessary for the new unit to be successful.  

Results 

Our client successfully launched five pilot projects and established the new unit within the initiative’s first year. The firm handed control of three initiatives to other business units to scale their impact.
