A major U.S.-based health research institute operating in Uganda sought to foster stronger relationships with key government stakeholders to help with their operations.

The ASG Approach

ASG's Africa team mapped key stakeholders within the Government of Uganda and created and implemented an engagement strategy for the company. We monitored key political and security developments in Uganda and informed our client of any changes in stakeholders' and government policy priorities, while helping them navigate the regulatory policies for health institutions in Uganda. We also crafted daily written briefs to help our client stay up-to-date on the latest Covid-19 developments in Uganda as well as emerging government responses to the pandemic.

Results

Our client has been able to foster key government relationships that have helped them to overcome regulatory challenges and enable more effective operations on the ground in Uganda.
