Wyatt King

Wyatt C. King is a Director at ASG, where he assists clients in developing environmental and social governance strategies, establishing public-private partnerships, gaining access to new markets, and managing political and regulatory disputes.

Mr. King has a particular focus on clean technologies, environmental sustainability, and corporate social governance. He also has a strong background in energy and environmental policy issues and corporate sustainability.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. King spent four years as an Energy and Environmental Policy Advisor to members of the United States Congress, including Representative Gabrielle Giffords and Senator Maria Cantwell, Chair of the Senate Energy Subcommittee. He also worked as Professional Staff for the House Committee on Science and Technology, where he drafted several renewable energy research and development provisions for the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007. Previously, Mr. King worked on electoral and issue campaigns in his native Washington State.

Mr. King also has significant private sector experience. As an International Project Manager for Amazon.com, he managed the launch of new customer service operations in Germany and new product lines in France. He later worked with sustainability thought-leader L. Hunter Lovins to launch the Natural Capitalism Group, a strategic consulting firm dedicated to helping corporate clients adopt business strategies that both reduce their environmental impacts and improve their bottom lines.

Mr. King earned his B.A. from Williams College and an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy, with a focus on International Environment and Resource Policy, from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

He speaks German and French.
