EXPANDED CAPABILITIES IN LATIN AMERICA AND ASIA

- New advisors Julia Abad, Nisha Biswal, Mark Feierstein, and Ignacio Petrocchi

WASHINGTON, DC (April 25, 2017) – Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG), the global business strategy and commercial diplomacy firm, today announced the appointment of several experts to further expand the firm’s services in East Asia, Latin America, and South Asia.

Julia Abad, Nisha Biswal, and Mark Feierstein have joined the firm as Senior Advisors. ASG also announced the addition of Ignacio Petrocchi as Advisor.

Julia Abad, based in the Philippines, advises clients of ASG’s East Asia & Pacific practice. She brings over 15 years of experience in senior roles in Philippine government and the social sector, including in the Senate, Department of Social Welfare and Development, and at the Ayala Foundation. From 2010 to 2016, she served as Chief of Staff to President Benigno Aquino III.

Nisha Biswal advises clients of ASG’s South Asia practice, drawing on more than three decades of government and social sector experience. Ms. Biswal held senior government roles at the U.S. Department of State and USAID, respectively serving as Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs and Assistant Administrator for Asia. Her background also includes positions in the U.S. House of Representatives and the American Red Cross.

Mark Feierstein advises clients of ASG’s Latin America practice, following his service in the White House as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Western Hemisphere Affairs. In the Obama administration, Mr. Feierstein advanced key U.S. policies including cooperation with Mexico and Canada, normalization of relations with Cuba, and the peace process in Colombia. He has also served as deputy to the Administrator and Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean at USAID and Senior Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS).  

Ignacio Petrocchi, based in Buenos Aires, advises clients of ASG’s Latin America practice, drawing on his experience working in the Argentine government. Most recently, Mr. Petrocchi served as a financial and legal advisor in the Ministry of Finance of the City of Buenos Aires.
